전산역학 기반의 구조 해석·설계와 나노역학을 연구한다. 관통자·성형작약 등 탄두 설계 기술, 열-응력 연성 및 피로/크리프 수명 평가, 그래핀옥사이드 정수 등 나노소재 해석을 다룬다. ABAQUS, ANSYS, LAMMPS 등 해석 도구를 활용한다.
