지반공학을 전공하는 연구실로, 산업 부산물(화력발전소 매립회 등)을 활용한 무시멘트 결합재와 지반 보강·속채움 재료의 공학적 특성 개선에 관한 연구를 수행한다. 한국지반공학회 우수 영문논문상을 수상한 바 있다. 전남대학교 건설환경공학과 소속이다.
