에너지 변환, 제어 및 자동화 분야를 연구하는 산업전자응용실험실이다. 신재생에너지 연계 전력변환, 마이크로그리드, 컨버터·인버터 및 모터 제어를 중심으로 대용량 전력변환과 DC 송배전 기술을 다룬다. 국책과제와 산학 공동연구를 통해 실무 역량을 갖춘 인재를 양성한다.
