부산대학교 전자공학전공 조교수로 반도체 소자 및 공정, 유기반도체, 뉴로모픽 소자, 유연전자소자를 연구한다. 기계적 응력에도 잘 찢어지지 않는 연성 n-type 유기반도체 및 트랜지스터를 개발했으며, 포스코사이언스펠로에 선정된 바 있다.
