조아라 교수의 Jo Research Group(전기분석화학 연구실)은 강원대 화학과 소속으로, 전기화학, 분석화학, 나노화학, 신재생에너지를 연구한다. 주사전기화학셀현미경(SECCM) 등을 활용한 국소 전기화학 분석과 에너지 변환·저장용 전기촉매 설계에 중점을 둔다.
