이훈경 교수 연구실은 건국대 물리학과 소속으로, 전산재료과학(computational materials science)을 연구한다. 밀도범함수이론(DFT) 등 제일원리 계산을 활용해 수소 저장 물질, 저차원 소재, 유기 반도체 등 다양한 재료의 물성을 이론적으로 분석한다.
