임은희 교수 연구실(첨단유기전자소재연구실)은 서울시립대 화학과 소속으로, 전자 소자용 유기 반도체 소재를 새롭게 설계·합성하는 연구를 수행한다. OLED, 유기 트랜지스터, 광검출기, 유기태양전지를 위한 저분자 및 고분자를 합성하며 분자 구조와 물성의 상관관계를 규명한다. 특히 비풀러렌 억셉터와 유기태양전지 분야에서 활발히 연구하고 있다.
