유종석 교수 연구실(계산촉매 및 재료설계 연구실)은 서울시립대 화학공학과 소속으로, 계산화학 기반 촉매 이론과 재료 설계를 연구한다. 메탄의 메탄올 직접 전환 촉매, 자동차 배기가스 저감용 Pd-CeO2 촉매, 이산화탄소 전환 촉매 등 반응 활성점을 원자 수준에서 규명하는 연구를 수행한다.
