명희준 교수 연구실(바이러스학 연구실)은 한국외대 생명과학과 소속으로, 박테리오파지와 그 엔도라이신을 이용한 차세대 항생제 개발을 연구한다. 다제내성 그람음성균을 표적으로 하는 엔지니어링 엔도라이신의 전임상 효능을 검증해 임상시험 진입을 추진하고 있으며, 2010년부터 박테리오파지은행을 운영하고 2019년 라이센텍을 창업해 파지 기반 치료제를 개발하고 있다.
