김종식 교수 연구실은 경희대 화학공학과 소속으로, 불균일계·환경 촉매를 연구한다. 산업 현장의 질소산화물(NOx) 등 대기 오염물질을 저감하는 친환경 촉매를 개발했으며, manganese vanadate 등 금속 바나데이트 기반 촉매 연구 성과를 ACS Catalysis 표지논문으로 발표했다.
