전체옥 교수 환경미생물학 연구실은 중앙대 생명과학과 소속으로, 미생물 생태와 마이크로바이옴을 연구한다. 환경 마이크로바이옴, 장내 마이크로바이옴, 식품 마이크로바이옴을 다루며, 담즙산을 대사하는 장내 세균과 콜레스테롤 저감 기전 등을 규명하는 연구를 수행한다.
