정성원 교수 연구실(빅데이터 처리 및 데이터베이스 연구실)은 서강대 컴퓨터공학과 소속으로, 데이터베이스를 연구한다. 빅데이터 군집화 등 비지도 학습 분석 기법, 소셜미디어 대용량 그래프 데이터 마이닝, 다차원 공간 데이터 인덱싱 및 질의 처리, 블록체인 기반 지리공간 데이터베이스 등을 연구한다.
