KAIST 원자력및양자공학과 이정익 교수의 원자력 발전 및 추진 연구실(NPNP Lab, Nuclear Power and Propulsion Laboratory)이다. 핵에너지를 효율적으로 전기로 변환하면서 시스템 소형화를 추구하며, 소형모듈원자로(SMR)·초임계 CO2(sCO2) 동력 변환·원자력 에너지저장·AI 기반 원전 자율운전 및 안전해석을 연구한다.
