KAIST 물리학과 조성재(Sungjae Cho) 교수의 연구실로, 메조스코픽 소자의 양자수송을 연구한다. 그래핀, 위상절연체, 전이금속 칼코겐화물 등 나노구조 물질의 전자·스핀트로닉·열전 특성을 다루며 스핀수송, 위상 양자소자, 반데르발스 이종접합, 양자상전이 등이 주요 주제다.
