건축구조 분야를 연구하며 프리캐스트 합성구조를 중심으로 다룬다. 접합 연결부를 갖는 프리캐스트 합성기둥 세그먼트와 그 시공법 등 합성·프리캐스트 콘크리트 구조 관련 연구를 수행한다. 서울대 건축학과에서 학사(2008)·석사(2010)·박사(2014)를 마치고 2025년 2학기부터 서울대 건축학과에 재직 중이다.
