천병구 교수의 고에너지물리연구실은 한양대 물리학과 소속으로, B 중간자를 연구하는 Belle 실험 등 고에너지 입자물리 실험을 수행한다. Belle 검출기의 전자기 칼로리미터 트리거 시스템과 차세대 Super-Belle 칼로리미터 개발에 참여하고, 초고에너지 우주선 검출 실험에도 참여한다.
