하성규 교수 연구실(복합재료·구조해석 연구실)은 한양대 기계공학부 소속으로, 실험과 시뮬레이션을 이용한 복합재료 구조의 성능 평가, 재료 선정 및 제조공정 개발, 시뮬레이션 기반 설계를 연구한다. 30여 년간의 복합재료 연구를 바탕으로 세계 최초로 재활용 가능한 복합소재 고압 수소탱크 기술을 개발·상용화하였다.
