조홍백 교수 연구실은 성균관대 생명과학과 소속으로, 세균 세포벽 합성 기전과 그람음성균 cell envelope의 합성·유지 기전을 연구한다. 항생제 내성 및 퍼시스턴스 기전을 규명하며 녹농균 등 다제내성균의 새로운 내성 기전을 밝혔다.
